We will inform you of any charges within 7 days or return of pushchair. Any repairs or cleaning necessary will be deducted from the retainer fee. Any repairs or replacement of pushchair due to negligence of the hirer (ie not due to manufacturing fault) beyond the value of the retainer fee paid will be payable within 14 days of our notification.

Check in is after 3pm and checkout by 10am. Your key and passes will be waiting for you at the East Gate security booth. They will direct you to the caravan park

 

This is our second home and hence we have certain terms & conditions of rental which we expect you to abide by.

 

  1.  

    1. 1. A £75 deposit is required for each booking which will secure your holiday. Due to a large amount of enquiries your deposits MUST reach us within 7 days of receiving your booking form. If you are booking 8 weeks prior to your holiday stay the full amount must be paid within 7 days.

      Bookings are from 3pm on arrival to 10am on the day of departure.

      2. On receiving your payment your booking is confirmed. The remaining balance to be paid 8 weeks before your holiday. No further reminder will be sent. Should your payment not reach us by the due date we reserve the right to re-let the caravan. For special events and short notice breaks the full amount must be sent to us within 7 days. As you can appreciate we have a large amount of enquiries for our caravan. No reminder or phone call will be made to chase payment.

      3. An additional £100 cleaning/damage waiver fee is added to the holiday price, and is refunded to you after your holiday as long as the caravan has been left clean and tidy and there are no breakages or damages caused during your stay. If any damage is caused to the caravan, the £100 will be kept towards the cost. Any additional costs incurred due to damage or extra cleaning caused by the hiree will be invoiced and payment due within 7 days of this invoice. Damage deposits will be refunded after we have checked the caravan after your stay - (since we do not go down each week this may take up to 4 weeks) if you provide an SAE for its return. Otherwise this cheque is destroyed (if not needed) This bond is returned from us and not from Butlins itself 

      If you would like your cheque returned to you rather than destroyed then please enclose an SAE with your cheque

      4. No smoking within the caravan. Our caravan is used by small children and smoke fumes will remain in the furnishings and could damage their health. Your £100 cleaning/damage waiver fee will not be refunded if this has happened as it will pay towards the airing and extra cleaning cost of the caravan. We have a dog ourselves which occasionally uses the caravan but we do not allow our guests to bring their pets.

      5. No all female or all male parties accepted (except by arrangement with us - eg waived if children/family included). No bookings will be accepted for young groups or young parties consisting of all male or all female parties (this is a Butlins rule). The hirer must be over the age of 25 unless agreed by prior arrangement with us.

      Under no circumstances may more than the maximum number of persons stated on the booking form occupy the property.

      Only those named on the booking form are permitted to occupy the caravan.

      6. If in the opinion of the site manager, any party is guilty of unreasonable conduct which causes a nuisance to other park guests, the owner or site manager may re-take possession of accommodation immediately without compensation to the party.

      7. The accommodation shall be used only by persons listed on the booking form. Any breach of this condition shall entitle us to terminate the booking with no refund. The caravan is for 6 people only (8 by prior agreement). Due to insurance purposes anymore people that are not listed on the booking form will be breaking the rules. Once the completed booking form is received by us then no extra persons can be added.

      8. The lead person on the booking form shall be responsible for all members of the party. Please ensure that no items provided in the caravan are removed during or after your stay. You are responsible for all contents in the caravan during your stay and any breakages or damage to the furniture, fixtures, fittings, inventory or caravan, must be paid for by the lead name on the booking form. Please ensure that our holiday home is left clean, tidy and ready for the next guests. The Hirer is responsible for the property and is expected to take good care of it. All equipment and utensils etc, and the property itself are to be left clean and tidy at the end of the stay. All damages / breakages should be reported as soon as they occur. The owners reserve the right to charge for any damage, breakages and extra cleaning which are not deemed to be normal wear and tear. Please remember that this is also our holiday home too and is solely maintained by us!

       9. We do not accept liability for any personal injury, loss or damage which may be sustained by the applicants or their party, during their holiday. You may wish to arrange your own holiday insurance.

      10. Please respect our carpets, the £100 bond will be kept by us for the cleaning of them if heavily soiled. Please leave all all outside shoes in the box provided outside(under the caravan)

      11. Cheques should be made payable to Jane Bishop- details given later after booking. We do accept debit card payments but not credit cards

      12. In the interest of preserving your damage deposit we advise that no pens, paints, felt tip pens be used by children inside the caravan. Damage caused by pens. felt pens etc will be charged for and not considered to be normal wear and tear

      13. Please remove shoes before entering. Any sandy or muddy shoes or toys should not be brought into the caravan. 
      Please leave pushchairs outside or in your car. 
      Any extra cleaning needed due to not adhering to this request will be charged for.

      14. Please make sure you check the contents list for anything that’s missing or damaged as soon as you arrive and inform us immediately. That way you won’t be held responsible for the cost.

      15. If you have to cancel your holiday you must contact us in writing BY MAIL. Failure to do so will result in all fees being due. We recommend recorded delivery mail for your own protection

      IN THE EVENT OF CANCELLATION, THE FOLLOWING CHARGES APPLY:

      16. Any complaints must be made immediately to the owner who will endeavour to rectify the problem as soon as possible, to ensure the continued enjoyment of your holiday. The complaint must be confirmed in writing within seven days of the end date of the Hirer's holiday

      17. This is Butlin's policy regarding children for adult themed weekends and breaks: Children are welcome at the resort but for their own interests will not be allowed in to the entertainment venues or the Skyline. They can usually go to the Sun and Monn and Highwayman pubs with an adult. They CAN go in to the Splash Pool, Funfair when open, cinema, pizza hut. Please contact Butlins yourself to confirm before booking if you plan to take children with you

      18. It is your responsibility to check with Butlins as to what facitlities will be open during your stay. Our duty is limited to providing you with accommodation within our caravan and we take no responsibility for the provision of services and entertainment provided by Butlins.
